Hawaiian Tavern Pizza Night at The Queensboro

Serhan Ayhan of Next Level Pizza is no stranger to unique toppings and pizza styles. In 2024, Next Level together with The Queensboro hosted a pan pizza night inspired by the many cuisines of Jackson Heights.

This year’s pizzas are round Chicago thin crust (aka tavern style), cut into squares and topped with some of the favorite dishes of the Hawaiian islands prepared by The Queensboro’s Tony Liu.

Hawaiian Spam Pizza

Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella-Cheddar Blend, Pineapple, and Housemade Queensboro Spam

Mochiko Chicken Pizza

Mochiko-battered Fried Chicken, Mozzarella-Cheddar Blend, finished with Sriracha Mayo, Scallion, and Furikake

Squid Luau Pizza

Squid simmered in Spinach and Coconut Milk, Mozzarella-Cheddar Blend, finished with Coconut Flavored Ricotta, Coconut Flakes, and Fried Garlic

Pizzas are approximately 12-13".

One ticket includes one pizza for the given timeslot and pizza type.

While The Queensboro’s dining menu will not be available that evening, their bar will be open for drinks (it wouldn’t be tavern pizza without one!).
