Havoc Games - Book Club - October 2026

The First Havoc Book Club event is here! The idea is to get a bunch of people with similar interests to read a book (hopefully a new one to most) and get together to have a chat!
For the first book, I've chose Horus Rising by Dan Abnett. While this is a story that a lot of us (myself included) have read as it is the first book of the Horus Heresy, I think it'll be a nice easy introduction to the book club idea.
So, what do you need?
* You need the book to read. This part is easy. Message the store by the 22nd September. The book will be available to those coming along for a cheaper price of $18.50. This is the current edition which is a larger format than the previous Horus Heresy editions, but is the same size as all other current Black Library books.
The books will be available from 30th September for you to pick up and take home to read.
* If you already have a copy (or prefer the audio format) but still want to join, the cost will be $5 to come along to the discussion. Again message the store directly to book your spot.
* Come along at 6.30pm on the 30th October to discuss the book with us! What are the things you liked? Things you weren't keen on? And what sort of book would you like to do for the next book?
