Beccles Community Choir are delighted to announce a special Christmas concert at The Waveney Centre in Beccles on Sunday 1st December, where they will be joined by special guests, Bungay Community Choir and local singer Vanessa Hembling who is also an ex-member of the choir.
‘Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas’ is a concert which promises an evening of musical delight, featuring a repertoire of well-known and enjoyable Christmas songs across various genres and styles. Along with their guests, the choir will perform a diverse selection of festive music, including popular nostalgic Christmas tunes, Holiday classics from the big band era, and Christmas singles from the 1950s and 1980s and beyond.
Beccles Community Choir was launched as a fun and friendly choir that explores how music and the singing voice can be used to benefit health and wellbeing and now attracts a regular attendance of 40-50 people.
