Have You Met Ted? A Presentation Style Singles Event

There's something safe about having a wingperson to take the edge off meeting new people while giving you the nudge you need to make a connection. (Participants must attend this event with a wingperson of another gender.) Whether that’s a friend, colleague, Hinge match, or your very own Barney Stinson, get ready for a fun night!

Expect one-minute presentations of your "Ted," plus group games, research-based mingling prompts, and a make your own mocktail bar. Participants will also be given colored bracelets indicating dating goals and common interests—like dating app filters, but IRL.

As if that wasn't enough, this event will be held in the unique environment of The Wilderness Fitness and Coworking Space, featuring a game room (hello, Ping-Pong), a theater, and speakeasy. Start your own story of how you met your person and we'll make sure it's legend—wait for it—dary.

**Attendees will receive a free day pass to the Wilderness.

What's the age range? Definitely old enough to have stayed up watching TV in 2010. Let's say late 20's to late 30's.

Do I really need to bring a wingperson? Yes and there's a reason. Men are more likely than women to be on dating apps. Women are more likely than men to attend in-person dating events. We're trying to keep an attendance balance while also benefiting from behavioral ecology research that suggests women are more attracted to men with female friends.
