Caitlin’s Smiles will host the annual Have A Heart Volunteer Day on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Linglestown Life Church. All volunteer slots are filled.
We ask that all volunteers bring new packs of crayons (24 pack) that will be used in our outreach to kids in medical facilities.
Roberto's pizza is providing pizza for us to sell for lunch. Stay after the morning session or come early to the afternoon session to buy a few slices. Proceeds benefit Caitlin's Smiles.
The 2025 event is at Linglestown Life Church, 1430 North Mountain Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112 (Linglestown).
Volunteers are welcome to join us to send smiles to hospitalized kids. Two volunteer sessions are scheduled for the day.
The first session runs from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and the second session begins at 1:00 pm and ends at 3:00 pm. Volunteers will create greeting cards, decorate gift bags and assemble craft kits. Each session has a limited number of spaces for volunteers. The cards, kits, and bags created at these sessions will be used in our outreach to pediatric patients receiving treatment at 180+ healthcare facilities in Pennsylvania and the surrounding states.
Registration is required. People wishing to volunteer for Caitlin’s Smiles’ “Have a Heart” Day must register online through our SignUp.Com registration page. Please, sign up for just one volunteer session per person so that more people will have the opportunity to volunteer. Children are welcome to volunteer, however children 13 and younger, must be accompanied by an adult for the entire duration of the volunteer session.

Caitlin’s Smiles is a non-profit organization based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, providing arts and crafts to kids staying in hospitals, visiting Emergency Departments, and attending appointments in clinics. With the help of donors and volunteers, Caitlin’s Smiles reaches hospitalized children in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Delaware, New York, New Jersey, West Virginia, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
