Cost: $50 in advance no later than 2/14/25. $65 at the door. Students $35. Volunteers (TBVF 2023 & any event until now) & Current Paid Members (past year or paid with HAH tickets). $40 until 2/14/25.

KARI BAGNALL
Kari Bagnall is the visionary founder and President of Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing lifelong refuge to nearly 200 New World monkeys. The sanctuary serves as a safe haven for primates retired from research labs, displaced from the exotic pet trade, or rescued by authorities, offering them compassionate, permanent care and rehabilitation.
Kari’s journey into compassionate living began nearly 50 years ago when she embraced a vegetarian lifestyle at a yoga ashram in Phoenix. This experience laid the foundation for Jungle Friends’ plant-based, communal culture, where interns and volunteers from across the globe contribute to the sanctuary's mission. Visitors are invited to explore a vegan lifestyle while at Jungle Friends, nurturing respect for all beings and fostering empathy beyond species lines.
Kari's vision for the sanctuary goes beyond caring for its primate residents; she sees Jungle Friends as a catalyst for kindness, inspiring individuals to practice compassion in ways that may one day reach the “critical mass” needed to create meaningful global change.
