Havana Roots blends traditional Son Cubano with the irresistible rhythms of Jamaican roots music. This orchestra is known for taking classic Cuban tunes and giving them a fresh, new twist using reggae grooves and the upbeat energy of ska - think of Buena Vista Social Club meets Skatalites!In less than a year the band has sold out venues in Dublin and performed at festivals such as Electric Picnic, Eats & Beats, Fuinneamh Festival, Howth Roots & Blues Fest.
They just launched their first 2-sides single featuring “Amor Verdadero” and “El Carretero”.
