👻 HAUNTED WATERS: Halloween Moonlight Paddle & Bonfire 🔥
Join Paddle Florida Now for a spooky-fun evening of paddle boarding, kayaking, sunset views, a moonlight paddle, island bonfire, s’mores, costumes, glowing fun & new friends!
🚨 Happening SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24th from 430pm–8pm
Meeting Time: 430pm
Launch Time: 5pm
Return Time: 8pm(ish)
We will launch as a group from Seabridge Riverfront Park in Ormond By The Sea and begin our leisurely sunset paddle to a nearby island that we will transform into our very own little Haunted Waters Halloween hangout! 👻
Meeting Location Address: 3570 John Anderson Dr Ormond By The Sea - No bathrooms at this location
Once we reach the island, we’ll spend plenty of time relaxing, socializing and enjoying everything included with the event before lighting up our fleet and paddling back together under the moon and stars.

Whether you rent from us OR bring your own paddle board/kayak, you get to enjoy ALL of the activities, treats, drinks and fun included with the event!
🌅 Sunset is around 6:45pm
🌕 The moon rises around 5:39pm and will be approximately 94% illuminated, giving us a beautiful almost-full moon for our evening paddle!

Costumes are strongly encouraged but not required!

Please keep costumes paddle-friendly and make sure they do not restrict your movement, visibility or ability to properly wear a life jacket.
✨ THE PADDLE BACK
Once the sun goes down, all vessels will be equipped with glow sticks for safety AND glowing Halloween fun!
We’ll light up ourselves, our paddles and our vessels before heading back together under the moon and stars. If you would like to bring additional lights, headlamps or battery-operated decorations for your vessel, you are welcome to!

Bring Your Own Board or Kayak – $25
We provide your glow sticks PLUS you are included in ALL Haunted Waters activities, treats, drinks, contests, bonfire fun and giveaways!
👜 WHAT TO BRING:
-Towel, blanket or small beach chair for the island
-Water and any additional snacks/drinks you would like
-Additional glow lights or vessel decorations if you want to get creative!
-A change of clothes to leave in the car for after
-Your Halloween spirit 👻
Please NO GLASS on the island.
This event is open to Men & Women and is appropriate for most paddlers 18+ (ID required to partake in adult beverage)
Because part of this event will take place after dark, we do not recommend this paddle for brand-new paddlers or small children.
