Welcome to Camp Nightmare, where your nightmares come true! Creepy cabins, strange counselors, and creatures of the night will make camp unforgettable!
Purchase tickets at the door - Hikes leave every 5 minutes!! Douglas-Hart Foundation members - you can purchase Pre-sale tickets NOW and save $2 off a ticket. Not a member, visit: www.dhnature.org/membership
Members $10/per person, $12/per person (Children 2 and under free).
Arrive early to enjoy popcorn, cider, and photo ops with costumed characters!
Your guide will walk you through 15+ decorated stations with creepy characters, haunting decor, and more! End the hike with a hayride back to the front visitor center area.
Daytime hikes from 5-5:45 are REVERSE scare hikes! Youth may dress up and scare our costumed characters on the trail! Please note, even in daytime hours children will encounter scary decorations and creepy characters!
After 6pm, as the sun sets, camp nightmare is in FULL effect - jump scares, darkness, and scares around every corner.
Last hikes leaves at 8pm.
Trails and hayride are accessible. Smaller strollers are permitted, as long as they fold up for the hayride. Wagons are strongly discouraged. Some wheelchair accessibility. Please call ahead: 217-235-4644 or email [email protected].
Lights and flashing strobes are used on the trail.
