Join the Hector Campbell Neighborhood Association at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13 at Homewood Park to talk about preparations for the annual Haunted Forest. We're looking for volunteers who can help set up or donate decorations, hand out candy, and maybe even act in this free, little kid-friendly trick-or-treat experience on Halloween Day at Homewood Park. In particular, there is a need for a "witch of the woods" to interact with children and give out candy. Last year, Sasquatch also made an appearance. If you have an idea for a character who could join the Haunted Forest (without being too scary) please reach out.
