FOOD DRIVE/CRUISE NIGHT It was like "American Graffiti" "Cruising the Boro" back in the day! Hatboro was one of the biggest cruising towns on the East Coast and was featured in several magazines!
The Hatboro Chamber of Commerce has voted to host Five (5) cruise nights this year 3rd Friday of May, June, July, August and September! It's our favorite time again to bring out your Hot Rods, Cars, Trucks and Motorcycles to cruise the town again. There is no designated turn around areas - so turn around at some old familiar spots or create some one news. Look for old friends and meet some new ones -
This is a drop in event, no registrations needed - feel free to cruise the town as much as you would like!
Our Hatboro Cruiser's committee and The Greater Hatboro Chamber have worked together on hosting these events so that we can fill the FOOD PANTRIES with much needed food for families and children. A few items requested:
Peanut Butter, Jelly, Canned Meat Vegetables, Tomato Sauce, Pasta, Canned or Dry Soups, Pasta, Sloppy Joe, Beef Stew etc along with Personal Care Items.
If you do not bring a bag of non-perishable food for donation they will gladly take monetary donations.
There are a few rules that need to be followed:
- ONLY STREET LEGAL VEHICLES ARE. PERMITTED
-NO BURN OUTS
- Someone will be at Reid Repairs located at the corner of York Road & Moreland Avenues to collect your donation and WILL GLADLY REMOVE THE DONATION FROM YOUR VEHICLE FOR YOU.
