This two-night workshop empowers attendees to MAKE YOUR OWN SLAVIC INSPIRED CUSTOM HATLed by local artist Martin C whose work honours traditional Eastern craftsmanship & bold Slavic design
Night 1 — Structure/Technique - Shape, form and build the foundation of your hat
Night 2 — Finishing/Decoration - Add texture, trims and personal details to complete a one-of-a-kind piece of functional art!
No experience necessary but due to the nature of hand sewing, nimble handwork is involved. Basic dexterity required. Basic materials included but attendees encouraged to bring extra materials if you have something particular you’d like to use, as well as tchotchkes & pins for customizing your project!
Perfect for makers with an interest in fashion!
