Join us for an evening of special guest speakers talking all things fishing and habitat restoration!We are hosting a ‘Fish Talk’ at the local Port Macquarie BCF Store!
We’re inviting communities to come together to hear about the incredible work being done to protect and restore habitats in the local area, including eDNA results from CSU and OzFish.
Speakers:
- Uncle Wayne Anderson- Welcome to Country. A Biripi-Worimi man sharing cultural knowledge.
- Tony: Port Macquarie BCF
- Jess Tout-Lyon: Charles Sturt University (CSU) A marine molecular and microbial ecologist at based on beautiful Birpai Country.
- Sebastian Roe- Honours Research Student at Charles Sturt University, presenting eDNA results as part of research through CSU and OzFish.
- Sean Finn: OzFish Hastings Chapter President
- Mark Bulley: Hastings River oyster farmer, a member of the NSW Research Advisory Committee and an advocate for healthy catchments.
- Alacia Cockbain: OzFish Unlimited Project Officer.
