Love the Hastings River and want to see it thrive? Join OzFish and local experts to explore the habitats that support our fish and find out how you can get involved in taking care of them.
We’ll be hosting a panel of fish and waterway experts for four short talks exploring oysters, seagrass, saltmarsh, water quality and local habitat restoration projects. Afterwards, we’ll hold an open discussion – a great opportunity for local community members to share their ideas, experiences and concerns, and learn how they can get involved in improving fish habitat and keeping the Hastings River healthy and full of fish.
Delicious light catering will be provided provided by Settlers Inn.
Guest speakers:
- Charlotte Jenkins – Senior Fisheries Manager, Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development
- Mat Birch - Aquatic Science and Management
- Craig Copeland – Founder, OzFish Unlimited
- Emma Kark – Special Projects Manager, OzFish Unlimited
