If someone you care about is living with dementia, or you simply want to better understand how to support a neighbor, friend, or family member, this gathering is for you.In a close-knit community like Hastings, we look out for one another. And when dementia touches a family, it touches more than just one person. It affects conversations, confidence, and connection.
On Thursday, April 23, from 2:30–3:30 p.m., Benedictine Living Community–Regina will host a free one-hour Dementia Friends presentation in partnership with Dementia Friends Minnesota, led by Dementia Friends Champion Colleen Fritsch
You’ll learn:
• What dementia truly is — and what it isn’t
• Simple, everyday ways to support someone living with dementia
• Practical tools to build meaningful, more confident interactions
Whether you’re a caregiver, spouse, adult child, neighbor, church member, or friend, you’ll leave with greater understanding and real strategies you can use right away.
This isn’t a clinical lecture.
It’s a conversation grounded in compassion, community, and confidence.
And because space is limited, early RSVP is encouraged.
