Auditions: Monday June 29 and Tuesday June 30 at 6:30 PM
Performance Dates: Friday-Sundays of August 21-23, 28-30, and September 4-6
Synopsis:
Elwood P. Dowd claims to have an imaginary friend named Harvey, a six and half foot rabbit. When he begins introducing Harvey to others, his sister Veta and her daughter Myrtle Mae try to have him committed to a sanitarium to treat his eccentric behavior. When Veta is mistakenly committed instead, misunderstandings and hilarious hijinks ensue as the family and doctors begin to search for Elwood and his invisible friend. This classic comedy explores the importance of being “pleasant” in a world that usually demands conformity.
