Join us for our Harvest Party + Candle Day on Saturday, October 11 from 9-7! This has become one of those fan-favorite events, and you don’t want to miss it!It’s that time of year for burning candles, so stock up! You’ll receive 25% OFF ALL IN-STOCK CANDLES AND WAX MELTS. Candle Day only happens twice a year.
We’re also celebrating the harvest with SPECIAL MENU ITEMS! Try our breakfast sandwich — cranberry honey cream cheese, turkey, cheddar, and caramelized onions on a bagel. For soups, we’ll have chicken wild rice and a butternut squash with cranberry relish and toasted pumpkin seeds for garnish. We’ll also have mashed sweet potatoes with cranberry turkey meatballs and gravy. For those with a sweet tooth, we’ll have salted caramel apple bars, pumpkin truffles, and s’mores cookies! So. Many. Good. Things!
The Copper Pony team will have a PUMPKIN CARVING / DECORATING CONTEST and you’re the judges! Put your name into the jar next to the Jack-O-Lanterns and after the event, we’ll count the votes for each pumpkin. The employee with the most votes will win a 9 pound, 7 wick, $130 Milkhouse Candle Co. Monster Caramel Apple candle. And you know what?! We’ll draw a name out of the votes and that person will win a Monster Candle as well!
There’s more! There will be A FEW RIDDLES that we’ll post the morning of the event on our Facebook event page. If you figure out the riddle, you’ll win a Copper Pony gift card, a Voluspa Spiced Pumpkin Latte micro tin candle, and a fun Halloween painted rock. These riddles may lead you to other businesses, so be ready!
We’ll also have our annual CANDY CORN COUNT, where the person who guesses correctly (or has the closest guess) will win a Voluspa Spiced Pumpkin Latte 5 Wick Hearth Candle!
SCSU Community Gardens will also set up and sell their canned goods (jams, beets, and pickles) and produce from the 2025 harvest. They’ll be here until 3 or so.
