Our fall fundraising event is scheduled for October 18th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the YCD office, 807 NE Adams in McMinnville. Please note that this is a change from the originally scheduled date of October 25th. Due to the unexpected death and subsequent memorial service for a beloved community member, we have changed our event date. There is also an issue regarding the entrance to Wennerberg Park being closed. We are not able to guarantee that our attendees will be able to enter safely or at all. Because of these things, we've decided to move our event to our office where we can assure a pleasant experience. Also, October 18th is the date of the NO KINGS peaceful demonstration just blocks from the office and we hope to include these fine folks.We know it can be difficult to change plans and truly appreciate your willingness to be flexible with us. We continue to remain steadfast in our commitment to our community and to improving lives through electing progressive candidates. We look forward to seeing you on October 18th!
We need volunteers!
There are several opportunities to sign up to help at the Harvest Festival. You can volunteer for one-hour increments so you will have time to enjoy the Festival. You can also sign up for back-to-back shifts if you'd like to give 2 hours of your time.😉
We also need bakers to bake whole pies, cookies, and bars for our fall-themed bake sale. You can certainly use your imagination if you'd like to make something different – maybe your favorite spooky treat!🥸
