About this Event
Please Note: This is a two part class with sessions one week apart. The selected date at purchase reflects week one. You will be required to participate in both sessions in order to complete the class.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Instructor: Ben Crawford, Owner Operator of Red Barn Home Furnishings
Cost: $200 per person for the two-part session (one - week apart)
Duration: Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes per class
Prior woodworking knowledge is not needed to participate in the class
PART I – WEEK ONE SESSION DETAILS
- Epoxy 101
- Assembling the mold
- Mixing the epoxy
- Pouring epoxy
- Releasing bubbles
PART II – WEEK TWO SESSION DETAILS
- Releasing the epoxy from the mold
- Sanding
- Polishing
- Oiling
- Q&A
CLASSES INCLUDE:
- Your choice of hardwood for the charcuterie resin epoxy board (approximately 12"x16")
- 3 liters of EcoPoxy FlowCast®A variety of color and tint options
- Finishing oil
- Detailed instruction on how to pour an EcoPoxy charcuterie board
- Professional training on how to properly prepare and execute a small resin epoxy pour in a small group setting
- Hands-on experience and assistance with Festool® finishing tools
- Question and answer session
CLASS SESSIONS ARE ONE WEEK APART. Please note that there are two seperate classes offered in one day, these are not session one and session two in the same day.

January 17th (part I) & 24th (part II) 10:30 AM & 1:30 PM - Hartville location
March 14th (part I) & 21st (part II) 10:30 AM & 1:30 PM - Hartville location
April 18th (part I) & 25th (part II) 10:30 AM & 1:30 PM - Midlefield location
You will be required to sign Hartville Hardware Release and Hold Harmeless Agreement before the first session begins.
