50 years ago on this exact date, professional hockey was played in Hartford for the first time. Hartford has continued that tradition now for 50 years. It's time to celebrate that history and tradition with the Hartford Whalers Booster Club as we watch the Hartford Wolf Pack take on the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The booster club has secured a block of tickets to this celebration game and you can join us by purchasing tickets on our website for $30. Per the Wolf pack website and social media, the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a 50th anniversary pennant. The Pack will also wear a specialty jersey this night that has a nod to Hartford's historic hockey past.
