We are thrilled to launch our very first Crochet Along (CAL) in partnership with Sirdar! Together, we will be making Sirdar’s official Harry Potter "Journey to Hogwarts" holiday blanket.
CAL Details
The blanket captures iconic moments from Harry’s first year at Hogwarts, from receiving his acceptance letter to first seeing the castle. Other items include:
- The Official Yarn Pack: Each kit comes with 16 balls of Hayfield Bonus DK yarn in an approved wizarding color palette representing the houses and magical tones.
- Exclusive Limited-Edition Ollivander's 4mm crochet hook
- Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans stitch markers
- Platform 9 ¾ ticket
- Commemorative woven blanket label
- Branded fabric tote bag
Weekly Gatherings
We will meet every Saturday from 12:00-2:00pm, snacks included, beginning November 8 and continuing through December 13.
Sirdar also provides a guided 6-Week CAL online video tutorials to stitch the blanket together alongside an active global maker community.
Whether you are a seasoned crocheter or embarking on your very first CAL, we invite you to bring your passion and creativity to the table. Stop by The Strand to pick up your yarn pack and join our crafty crew.
