Harrogate College "End of an Era" Event
About this Event
After 41 years at its current home, Harrogate College is preparing to begin an exciting new chapter. Before moving on, the college will celebrate the building that has played such an important part in the lives of generations of students, staff, businesses and the wider Harrogate community.
Join us on Thursday 3 December, from 5-7pm, for the ‘End of an Era’ event- an opportunity to look back, reminisce and celebrate the memories and achievements that have taken place within these walls.
The evening will feature a collection of photographs, displays, press clippings, videos and memorabilia submitted by members of the college community over the years. Visitors will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the building, share their own memories and stories, and enjoy delicious canapés prepared by Hospitality students.
Among the exhibits will be a special film exploring the history of the college’s main building, produced by Harrogate College alumnus Reece Longden as part of his MA Creative Practice degree at University Centre Leeds.
The college is asking anyone with items they would like to display on the night to bring or send them in by 30 October. Please contact [email protected].
Whether a former student, member of staff, colleague, business partner or simply someone with a connection to Harrogate College, all are invited to join this special event celebrating 41 years of memories, milestones and moments before the college moves to its new home.
