About this Event
Join the Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County for the fourth annual Power of the Purse, celebration of women and business expo. The 2025 Power of the Purse is sure to inspire and motivate with guest honorees Pam Bennett Martin & Kelly Trask.
Pamela Bennett Martin, a powerhouse of purpose, passion, and community impact. With 45 years in the insurance industry and countless leadership roles across Southern Indiana, Pam has led by example—building businesses, mentoring women, and founding organizations that uplift and inspire.
From chairing million-dollar campaigns and leading the Harrison County Chamber, to earning statewide awards for service and leadership, Pam embodies what it means to serve with heart and purpose. She’s a founder, fundraiser, and fearless advocate for progress—and exactly the kind of woman worth celebrating.
Don’t miss the chance to connect, be inspired, and join a network of women making a difference. Vendors, attendees, and community champions—this is your moment. Let’s celebrate women like Pam who lead the way.
Kelly Trask turned a high school passion into a thriving career in broadcasting, co-owning five radio stations across Southern Indiana with her late husband, Blair—including WKLO 96.9. After his passing, Kelly boldly carried their vision forward, expanding their company with BK Media Solutions, launching the on-camera show “Southern Indiana Now,” and creating The Blair Foundation to honor his legacy.
Kelly is a storyteller, entrepreneur, educator, and community advocate. She’s been featured on the cover of Radio Ink Magazine, authored The Next Thing: Moving Forward Without a Map, and transformed a historic building into an Airbnb and video studio. Her work is driven by a commitment to creativity, courage, and connection.
Whether she’s speaking to women’s groups, serving on nonprofit boards, or inspiring others to move forward through change, Kelly leads with authenticity and purpose. Her journey is a powerful reminder of the strength and spirit women bring to their communities and industries every day.
