Join us for an afternoon re-enacting the last day of Harris Park Transport. On 21 December 2004 Hino 8199 ran the last 624 Parramatta to Epping, we will re-enact this trip and travel over some of the old hills district routes. Proposed Itinerary
Meet at Epping station -
1500 628 to North Carlingford
1520 623 to Beecroft
1600 626 to Cherrybrook
1645 627 to North Rocks
1730 bus change 629 to Epping (chance for people to leave)
1800 624 to Parramatta
Dinner 1930-2100
2100 624 to Epping, 629 to North Rocks.
We plan to run a Hino and Volvo and then swap to another Hino and Volvo in the afternoon.
Cost tbd based on “going” numbers to cover fuel.
Great chance to meet up with friends before Christmas, and re-live a turning point in bus service history in Sydney.
