Harris Family Reunion 2026 — Thibodaux, Louisiana
This June 2026, we’re coming back to Thibodaux, Louisiana, where it all began to reconnect generations, celebrate our roots, and move forward as one team.
The Homecoming Series
This reunion is built around a team-first theme—a respectful nod to our patriarch Alfred Harris' legacy and the spirit of unity, grit, pride, and playing for something bigger than yourself. It also honors what he and Hesta always wanted—“enough kids to have a baseball team.”
The last Harris reunion was in 1989—and we all know how overdue this is. Therefore, the committee putting this together sincerely hopes each and every one of you can make it.

Weekend Overview
- Friday, June 26 — Meet & Greet (6:00–9:00 PM)
- Saturday, June 27 — Harris Homecoming Picnic (11:00 AM–6:00 PM)
- Sunday, June 28 — Harris Heritage Crab Broil Brunch + Legacy Day (Starts at 12:00 PM) - a day of "Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future."
Hotel + Travel Notes (For Out-of-Town Family)
We currently have 10 hotel rooms reserved for anyone traveling in for the weekend and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. This is due to the Manning Passing Academy football camp at Nicholls State the same weekend. Thibodaux hotels are largely sold out.
If you want to take one of these rooms, please coordinate with Sullivan. Below are the confirmed room blocks (already held).

Family Tree Roll Call (Important):
As part of our legacy work for this reunion, we’re building an updated Harris Family Tree. After you register, please complete the Family Tree Questionnaire so your branch of the family is accurately represented in our reunion materials and keepsakes. One form per household (or per adult, if preferred) is perfect.

Do I need to complete a Family Tree Questionnaire?
Yes. To make sure every branch of the Harris family is represented, we’re asking all attendees to complete the Family Tree Questionnaire after purchasing a ticket.
What is the Family Tree Questionnaire used for?
It helps us document names, family connections, and locations so we can create an updated family tree and honor our shared legacy during the reunion weekend.
When is the Family Tree Questionnaire due?
TBD (recommended: set a firm deadline so the family tree can be compiled and printed in time).
Who should submit the questionnaire—one per person/household or every person with kids?
Recommended: one per person/household (unless there are multiple Harris-line adults in the same household who want to submit separately).
What if I’m not sure about certain names or dates?
No problem—complete what you know. You can include “unknown” where needed, and we’ll follow up if clarification is required.
Will my information be shared publicly?
No. It will be used for reunion purposes (family tree/reunion materials).

Info: A relaxed welcome night for everyone arriving from out of town. Come check in, hug family you haven’t seen in a while, meet the next generation, and kick off the weekend.
Saturday June 27th

Saturday, June 27 — Family Picnic (11:00 AM–6:00 PM)
Info: This is our main “game day.” Expect music, dancing, family games, team competitions, prizes, and all-day memories. We’ll also do a full-family photo—everyone in the reunion shirt, standing together like a true roster.

Sunday, June 28 — Crab Broil Brunch + Legacy Day (Starts at 12:00 PM)
Info: We’re closing the weekend with a Crab Broil Brunch focused on bonding, team-building, heritage, and legacy—the “family huddle” before we head back to our home cities refreshed and reconnected.
