About Master of Me:
A MOST ANTICIPATED BOOK OF FALL 2024: Bookshop, Apple Books, and more!!
Keke Palmer thought she knew who she was. What it means to be a good person and what it takes to be a success. It all seemed so simple, until she realized the challenges she would have to face to prove to herself who she wanted to be. From feeling alienated to having to restart her career after ten years in to becoming a single mother just months after her son was born―everything she worked for in life that she felt granted her what she wanted now also reminded her that “life is going to life” and throw curveballs regardless of what you deserve. She found herself asking, Where do I find my power? How do I master myself?
In her own raw and intimate words, Keke talks about everything from her struggles with boundaries to unconditional love, forgiveness, and worthiness. “Don’t block your blessings and potential opportunities by allowing the voices of other people to influence your actions,” she says. “How you’re choosing to set yourself up for success is between you and the person looking back at you in the mirror.”
Throughout the book, Keke also poses readers with the questions needed to get them through their own challenging times by sharing personal stories and lessons she’s learned along the way. She gets candid about the tools she’s developed to take the reins, harness her vulnerability, and recognize ownership in the narrative of her life―which allowed her to turn personal power into major power.
In this exhilarating, deeply poignant, and often laugh-out-loud book, Lauren Keyana Palmer gets real about life, work, love, and belief. These pages will encourage readers to empower themselves with the truth, leverage their currency, and find the keys to master themselves and the art of alchemy. Keke writes, “You are not on anyone else’s timeline, only your own.”
The result is a tour de force.
They said, “Jack of all Trades, Master of None.”
She said, “No, I am the Master. Of Me.”

Tierra Whack Bio:
GRAMMY-nominated recording artist and creative auteur, Tierra Whack is solidifying her position as a force to be reckoned with after her riveting release Whack World. Loaded with flavorful wordplay and boundless creativity, Whack netted her first GRAMMY nomination for her standout video, "Mumbo Jumbo." Armed with a love for 90s hip-hop and a passion for poetry, the North Philly emcee eventually delved into rapping, holding her own amongst fellow Philadelphia rhymers and capturing the attention of local luminaries like Meek Mill and DJ Cosmic Kev. Her clever off-the-dome wordplay and a barrage of freestyles (including the 90-second clap-back, "Colorblind") cemented her early fanbase, and in 2017, Tierra inked a deal with Interscope Records.
Her 15-track debut project Whack World continues to garner her critical acclaim. After being lauded for her lyrical bravery and masterful vision in 2018, the following year, Whack stormed back with five new tracks in five consecutive weeks as part of her acclaimed "Whack History Month." In June 2019, her stellar wordplay abilities earned her a coveted slot as an XXL Freshman. She also was featured on Apple's Up Next Program and the following year covered Teen Vogue's March 2020 issue. Subsequently, Whack partnered with Apple for a lighthearted commercial, which featured new songs "feel good" and "Peppers & Onions." That Spring, she teamed up with LEGO for her video "Link." There, Whack sat down alongside Philadelphia children from ages 6-9 to build a myriad of objects out of bricks to inspire her innovative video.
Last year, Whack was in peak form lyrically, releasing three EPs. Aptly titled Pop?, Rap? and R&B?, Tierra skates effortlessly through different genres, flexing her overall sensibilities as a transformative artist. Lauded for her innate creativity by The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, and more, Tierra recently released the stirring visual for her new single “TWO NIGHT.” Tierra’s universally acclaimed debut album WORLD WIDE WHACK is now available.
