Enjoy a fun day at the confluence of the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers! This tubing adventure is known for its scenic beauty and fun white water. This location has some great features including an on-site brewery and campground, providing an opportunity for you and your friends to make it a full weekend on the river. You can join us for our Good-Bye Summer Blowout trip on the Shenandoah River the following day.

Our Goodbye Summer Blow Out white water paddle on the Shenandoah is the very next day, Sunday, August 24th. This is the perfect opportunity to do some tubing on Saturday, camp on-site, enjoy cold beverages, food, and live music then hit the river again the next day! We will be rafting (with a guide) on one of the most beautiful stretches of the “Doah” or you can up your game and paddle a white water ducky through exciting Class III rapids! So make it a weekend! Remember summer is almost over!
Camping or rental cabins at Harpers Ferry Adventure Center (HFAC) are limited so reserve them well in advance. Visit HFAC for reservations—Potomac Riverkeeper Network is not responsible for securing campsite reservations.

Paddle Level: Beginner (but requires paddling through rapids)

What to Bring:

Packed lunch, small cooler (optional)
Reusable water bottle (please no plastic bottles or glass)
Wear proper footwear. NO FLIP-FLOPS. Old gym shoes, sandals with a strap, and water shoes work great
Sunscreen, hat and rain gear
Snacks and drinking water (no glass bottles)
Change of clothes
Dry Bag or Waterproof Container (if you bring a phone or a non-waterproof camera, you need a way to protect it)
