An afternoon of fun harping with Amy Turk & Lauren Scott organised by Heather Downie.
The session is open to lever & pedal harpists of all ages and standard (minimum grade 2 equivalent or at least 1 year of playing experience.)
Harpists will need to bring their own harp, music stand and stool.
The afternoon consists of two workshops -
Adventures for Lever Harp with Lauren Scott.
An exploration of fun and funky extended techniques that can be achieved on lever harp for all levels of players.
Introduction to percussion and pop arranging for harp with Amy Turk. Discover percussive and extended harp techniques that anyone can learn, and find out how to incorporate these into your playing to start arranging your favourite songs.

The workshop costs £20

There is a concert by Amy & Lauren following on from the workshop in the church at 4.30pm You are welcome to leave your harps at the back of the church in between the workshop and the concert.
