Dr. Justin Lewis is an English faculty member at Olympic College and Western Washington University. He holds a PhD in Composition and Cultural Rhetoric from Syracuse University, an MA in English from the University of Tennessee, and a BA in Comparative Literature from the University of Georgia. His research interests center on User Experience Design, Technical Communication, Artificial Intelligence, and Qualitative Research Methods. Dr. Lewis has published in various journals in Rhetoric & Composition as well as in multiple edited collections and has taught at Western Oregon University, the University of Nevada, Virginia Tech, Syracuse University, and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Lewis holds multiple editorial roles, including Layout and Design Editor for Literacy in Composition Studies and Associate Editor for the Working and Writing for Change Series at Parlor Press. As an AI Ambassador at Olympic College, he liaisons with faculty, administration, and students to advance sensible, research-driven policy and pedagogy related to AI in the humanities and social sciences.

An aspiring luddite, Justin enjoys backpacking, fishing, and canoeing with his family in the natural beauty of Washington's Olympic Peninsula.
