Harmonic Flow: From Movement to Stillness | A Two-Part Journey of Flow and Sound 🎻
This immersive experience that combines the physical grace of yoga with the live, resonant power of the violin and cello.
This event is designed to take you on a complete journey—moving from the heat of practice into the deep restorative power of a string-led sound bath.
Friday 24th July
6:30p - 8:00p
Serenity Farm Yoga Sanctuary, Durham
The Journey
Part I: The Melodic Flow We begin with a guided gentle flow, synchronized to the rising energy of the strings. The violin and cello provide a rhythmic heartbeat for your practice, helping you find fluid transitions and physical alignment. As the music builds, so does your breath, creating a moving meditation that connects body and sound.
Part II: The Resonant Rest Transition from movement into total stillness. As you settle into your final resting pose, the yoga practice evolves into a Live String Sound Bath. The musicians will create a tapestry of long, vibrating tones and ethereal melodies. Let the deep, grounding frequencies of the cello and the soaring heights of the violin wash over you, clearing mental clutter and lulling the nervous system into a state of deep repair.
Why This Experience?
• Active Release: Use movement to shed the day's stress before dropping into meditation.
• Vibrational Healing: Experience the physical sensation of live acoustic instruments—a feeling no speaker can replicate.
• Balanced Energy: A perfect blend of Sthira (steadiness/effort) and Sukha (ease/bliss).
