The Harley Scramble is a premier event that has a proud history with the BSA club, to be held every year, with this year touching on the 98th anniversary of the Harley Scramble. The race is an extremely challenging event, which was designed to test the riders' skill, will, fitness and concentration as they race to the finish line.
Event history:
The Harley Scramble was a major motorcycle race that significantly shaped the development of motocross in Australia. Held at the Rope Works Circuit in Mosman Park from 1928 to 1964, it drew massive crowds and featured a unique race format.
The event's formative years saw it consistently attract over 10,000 spectators, peaking in 1955 with a crowd of 20,000 when combined with the Australian Scrambles Championship.
