A TRAGIC LOSS & ACT OF HEROISM
On a heartbreaking day in Orange, New Jersey, a devastating house fire claimed the lives of Frantzia and Pojanee Fleury, two beloved daughters, sisters, and mothers. Both women died as heroes, saving their disabled father, Alfred Frantz Fleury, from the flames through their courageous and selfless actions. Unfortunately the father passed away in the Hospital on December 8th.
Their mother remains in deep shock and grief. The tragedy, widely covered in the news, has left the Fleury family without a home and facing unimaginable emotional and financial hardship.
Frantzia Fleury was a proud U.S. Marine veteran and a dedicated X-ray technician at a local hospital, known for her strength, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. Pojanee “PJ” Fleury was the creative force behind Brown Eyes Magazine, touching countless lives with her artistic vision and storytelling.
Each sister leaves behind one child, now facing life without their mother. The family has set up as GOFUND ME. LINK TO GOFUND ME: .
This vigil is being hosted by Mory Kouyaté, Chairman of the AiC of New York and Connecticut, Inc., and will serve as a moment of remembrance, healing, and community solidarity following an unspeakable tragedy that has shaken both New Jersey and New York communities.
