Annual Showcase event for Volunteers and Volunteer Community Sector organisations in Haringey
About this Event

The Haringey Community Showcase 2024 is all about celebrating the amazing work happening in our local community. Following the success of last year’s event hosted by the Bridge Renewal Trust, we’re bringing together voluntary and community sector groups, volunteers and residents for a day packed with inspiration, connection, and recognition of community achievements.

This year marks a new chapter as the event is part of the Haringey Community Collaborative – a project aimed at fostering even stronger partnerships across the borough. The Showcase will highlight exciting community-led projects and honour individuals and groups making a real difference in Haringey.

Please find details on ' below. and register as an Attendee or book a space as a Stall Holder via 'Select Tickets' button.

What’s the Showcase About?

- Celebration and Recognition of Impact: Taking a moment to reflect on the positive impact achieved in our community this year.

- Working Together for a Better Haringey: Exploring how we can collaborate to create lasting, positive change in the community.

- Creativity and Culture: Shining a light on how arts, creativity, and culture bring us together and strengthen local bonds.

- Sustainability and Growth: Looking at how we can build a greener, more sustainable future for Haringey.

- Inclusion and Equality: Ensuring everyone feels included and that all voices are heard in shaping our community.

What We’re Aiming to Do

1. Celebrate Our Local Heroes: Recognise the people and organisations who are making a real difference in the community.

2. Build Stronger Connections: Create opportunities for local groups, residents, and the Council to come together, share ideas, and work more closely.

3. Showcase Local Services: Highlight the fantastic voluntary and community sector projects and services available to residents, so more people know where to turn for support.

4. Inspire Action: Encourage everyone to get involved in making Haringey a better place for all.

What To Expect
  • Stalls and Info Stands: Over 50 local organisations will be there to show what they do and how they can support the community.
  • Performance: Songs from inspiring community music initiatives.
  • Awards Ceremony: The Community Showcase Awards 2024 will honour the incredible people and organisations who’ve made a difference in categories like health, culture, sustainability, and inclusion.
  • Challenge Fund Round 1 Announcement: Grant awardees for Challenge Fund Round 1 'cost of living' will be announced.

The Showcase is a community event open to all!

Haringey’s local community will be invited to browse 50 stalls from local Voluntary and Community Sector organisations, showcasing their projects, services, activities, and volunteering opportunities. There will also be guest appearances from key figures across Haringey’s community sector, along with live music performances from local artists.

We’re expecting over 250 attendees, including voluntary groups, local residents, and key figures from across Haringey’s community sector including Cllr Sue Jameson, the Mayor of Haringey.
