About this Event
We will bring together our member organisations, partners, volunteers, and community leaders to reflect on our achievements, discuss pressing challenges, and strengthen our collective impact in tackling food insecurity across Haringey. This year’s AGM will focus on network building, advocacy, people assemblies, and celebrating the contributions of our dedicated volunteers.

Background:
HCFN (Haringey Community Food Network) we are a network of food banks, community kitchens, and food distribution initiatives across Haringey. It brings together 53 member organisations working on the frontline to tackle food insecurity and provide essential support to residents in need.
Key activiities within the Network :
• Food Distribution: Coordinating food donations and ensuring fair and sufficient distribution across the borough.
• Support Services: Assisting with form-filling, providing advice, and supplying essential items (clothes, nappies, toiletries, etc.).
• Emergency Aid: Offering emergency packs for street homeless individuals.
• Community Engagement: Running cooking classes, food education programs, and wellbeing initiatives.
• Collaboration & Advocacy: Facilitating partnerships and advocating for policies to address food poverty.
