Harbor Ave. / Spruce

Group member Shiloh reached out to ask about a Sprucing of the heavily overgrown sidewalk along the east side of Harbor Ave, down towards the bridge. We’ll hop out Monday and give it an initial cleanup—opening the sidewalk back up for easy passage, cleaning the parking strip, trimming back the retaining walls on the abandoned properties along the street, and raising the drooping canopy of trees that have been overtaken by clematis and ivy. This will be a pretty dramatic transformation, and a big benefit for neighbors who need to use the sidewalk which is currently a huge hazard.

Park along the east side of Harbor Ave. along the bike trail, we’ll be starting across from West Coast Self-Storage.
