In the first act, we explore traditional Appalachian/American tunes and ballads and observe their origins, survival, and how they influenced modern music. In act two Bronwyn interprets modern folk music through the lens of our historic foundation. This performance is set in the framework of encountering American music, made by working American people, that is our birthright and privilege to experience, learn, and keep.
