About this Event
Join Uncharted Outdoorswomen and Gnar Nights to celebrate women’s history month in March; we have a special happy hour meetup planned!
Schedule:
5:00pm - Happy hour meetup starts!
6:30pm - There will be a special film screening of “The Approach”. The film is about 35 minutes long and is an action-driven ski and snowboard film elevating people of color, women, and adaptive athletes.
After the film, stick around and share stories of how women have inspired you in the outdoors (in under 3 minutes) on the open mic.
There will be $1 off drinks during the event at Berkeley Untapped!
How do the Monthly Meetups work?
Simply RSVP so we have a headcount to relay to the staff onsite. Show up whenever you’d like! No obligation to show up at the start time or stay until the end. Come whenever is convenient for you and leave whenever you’d like. Our goal is to make meeting new people or learning about Uncharted Outdoorswomen easy and accessible. Already attended a class? Come by and say hello! Tell us about your latest adventure! Want more female outdoor friends? Come meet your new bestie! Want tips from guides and others? Feel free to ask!

Meet Your Host - Emily
Emily enjoys fly fishing year-round but spends most of winter baking sourdough, caring for her chickens and ducks, tying flies, and planning next year's garden. She quit her corporate job (like our founder) to find a new path in life and joined Uncharted in 2023 where she teaches fly fishing classes, homesteading classes, and spearheads the community committee.

Uncharted Outdoorswomen is a group of female and nonbinary educational guides who aim to get more women into the outdoors. They create space for women in the outdoors by offering classes in fly fishing, hunting, foraging and more!
