Friends! Have you ever wished you could audit a college class to learn super cool new stuff??? Well this event is just for you! With a fun twist!
Happy Hour 101 is UW Oshkosh esteemed professors, teaching about subjects that they do NOT teach day to day... but rather things that they are passionate (and knowledgeable) about outside of class.
Short talks, with great company (and snacks and bevs) followed by Q & A and socializing...should be a blast!
AND...these 'classes' are WAY cheaper than going to college...tickets are just $1 (and all proceeds go to the professor's charity of choice) (this is our way of saying we have limited space for these and need to know how many folks are coming...also get your tix fast!)(your 'admission' also gets you happy hour pricing all night at becket's...so the savings will be apparent:)

Dr. Jordan Karsten presents: WI Death Trip! : Forensic anthropology in the Badger State...
Dr. Karsten is a biological anthropologist who specializes in Forensic Anthropology and serves as the Wisconsin Forensic Anthropologist. He teaches courses such as Biological Anthropology, Osteology, Forensics, Burial Recovery and Ground Penetrating Radar, etc. He works with both the anthropology and primal justice department and has started a forensic investigation certificate, minor, and is looking to be a part of creating a Masters program in Criminal Justice with a focus on Forensic Investigation. He has started Wisconsin Archaeological Consultants LLC (https://www.wiarchconsult.com/). Co creator of the podcast Cold Case: Frozen Tundra. He is a beloved professor and respected colleague and vital contributor to the Wisconsin crime scene community!
