Happiness Habits 613 Book Club Book Talk is back! We are celebrating fall with a family-friendly Monday evening community walk in Old Ottawa South with stops along the way to read excerpts of Atomic Habits by James Clear. The route is 2k and is accessible to wheelchairs. We will have visibility lights to share for all participants.

This event will be facilitated by HH613’s co-leads and local happiness experts @bytownboy & @tammynutrition .

The walk will begin and end at OPL Sunnyside (1049 Bank Street).We are again pleased to partner with the @opl_bpo to showscase books in their collection. It is available at the Ottawa Public Library in hard copy or e-book.

Atomic Habits: Building on exchanges he had with readers of his e-mail list, in 2018 Janes Clear published Atomic Habits on how to build tiny, frequent habits that have a large beneficial and cumulative effect on one’s life. Clear also argues against formulating goals and plans as a large majority of people do not have trouble designing them, but following them in everyday life.

James Clear: After graduating from Denison University, he started his career as a performance coach for athletes & executives. He then got into writing and public speaking. In 2012, he began writing on self-improvement debuting with Atomic Habits which became a New York Times bestseller.

Happiness Habits 613: We are a grassroots group in Ottawa-Gatineau created in 2015 that cultivates healthy habits in the community through the 9 Pillars of Happiness.
