Happily Haunted is back at Bookworm Gardens for an evening of fall discovery, glowing garden paths, and Halloween fun designed especially for families!
As the sun goes down, the Gardens come alive with more than 100,000 twinkling lights and imaginative seasonal displays. Explore decorated garden spaces, settle in for Halloween-themed storytime, and keep your eyes open for bats during a Garden-wide game of I Spy.
Come hungry. Hot dogs, warm chili, popcorn, sweet treats, festive beverages, and s’mores kits will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
Every child will receive a festive treat bag, so you can leave the trick-or-treat buckets at home.
Happily Haunted is a memorable introduction to Halloween for little ones and a fall tradition worth returning to year after year.
TICKETS
Advance tickets are required. When reserving, please select “Other Dates” and then “Other Times” to view and choose your preferred Happily Haunted entry time.
- Bookworm Member Adult: $10
- Bookworm Member Child, ages 3–17: $8
- Public Adult: $15
- Public Child, ages 3–17: $13
- Ages 2 and under: Free
MEMBER BENEFITS
Bookworm Members may visit during the first full weekend of Happily Haunted, October 9, 10, and 11, at no charge for members and their immediate family.
Reciprocal and library garden memberships are not valid during Happily Haunted.
ADDITIONAL INFO
Admission is non-refundable and non-transferable. AHS Reciprocal Memberships, Library Memberships and Passes, and Family Guest Passes are not valid for this special event.
