Robert Schumann - Piano Quintet in E flat Op. 44
As ever admission is free with a retiring collection
The Budapest Piano Quintet formed in 2024 and comprises mainly students and graduates of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. After a successful debut performance at St George’s Hanover Square in July 2024, which featured Shostakovich’s 1940 Piano Quintet, the group returns with Robert Schumann’s Piano Quintet Op. 44 and one of the first performances of the Quintet by contemporary London composer Isabella Gellis.
