Hannukah in Santa Monica 2025

Mark your calendars for December 20th at 6:30 PM and step into the warm embrace of community at the Holistic Jew House.

Led by the inspiring Rabbi T'mimah Ickovits, immerse yourself in a mystical candle-lighting ritual that promises to fill the room with light and warmth. We will sing songs and gaze into the Hannukah candles. The soulful melodies of Steven Moos will enrich the evening as he plays soulful sounds on stringed instruments, creating an enchanting atmosphere that invites you to be part of something truly special.

But the celebration doesn't stop there! After the rituals, treat yourself to a delicious Hannukah meal featuring crispy, golden latkes and a hearty dinner—much of which comes straight from the Holistic Jew Garden. We always include protein in our meals.

Complement this delightful meal with our Energizing Apple Elixir and other libations that will surely please your palate.

What's more? Bring your own Hanukkiah if you have one, but don't worry—we'll have extras available!

This evening is the seventh night of Hanukkah, which coincides with Rosh Hodesh Tevet—the New Moon. It is Rabbi T'mimah's birthday - the dark of the dark.
