Hanningfield Christmas Wreath Making

Join us for a cosy, creative session where you’ll weave your very own willow Christmas wreath and decorate it with fresh greenery and berries we’ve gathered for you. We’ll also have a lovely selection of festive ribbons and cinnamon sticks — so you can make your wreath truly unique.

As we craft, we'll get in the festive spirit tucked away in the centre with some tea, coffee, or non-alcoholic mulled wine.

Full instructions and all materials will be provided for the wreath workshop. However, if you wish to bring your own gardening gloves, secateurs, or decorations for your wreath, you are more than welcome!

🌳Will the session take place outside? 

No, the session will take place inside the centre.

🥾What should we wear? 

We will be inside for the session, so outside layers are not required, but festive attire is encouraged!

🌍Where are you based? 

We are located in Mid-Essex, local to Chelmsford, Ingatestone, Billericay, Wickford, South Woodham Ferrers, and Basildon.

🚗Is there parking? 

Yes. We have a large free car park.

🚇Can we get to you on public transport? 

We are accessible by bus, with bus stops outside the centre and 10 minutes away. We are not accessible by train.

☕Is there a Cafe or shop? 

The visitor centre has a shop and café serving hot and cold drinks, snacks, ice cream, and light lunches. 

🚻Are there toilets?                                                                                                  

Yes.

🐕‍🦺Can we bring a dog? 

Assistance dogs are welcome at our events. 

♿Will the event be accessible? 

The event will take place inside the centre, which is wheelchair friendly.
