HANNAH WICKLUND - Growing up on the beaches of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, Hannah Wicklund has always had music in her bones.
Through hard work and determination, she built her career on her own. Starting her band at eight years old, then graduating at 16 and hitting the road, she has performed at major US festivals including Firefly Music Festival, Shaky Knees Music Festival, Bourbon & Beyond, Summerfest, and Kaboo Del Mar, toured as direct support for Marcus King on his North American tour and opened for Greta Van Fleet on the Canadian leg of their Dreams In Gold tour.
Wicklund released her debut LP – Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin Stones – on her own label, Strawberry Moon Records, in 2018, and most recently released the highly acclaimed album ‘The Prize’ in 2024.
MICK McCONNELL - Mick McConnell, has for almost 30 years been a full-time member of the legendary Bradford band ‘Smokie’ in the role as lead guitarist.
However, it’s his side project ‘Mick McConnell & Blue Thunder’ that’s now causing a bit of a stir for him on the music scene.
His rip-roaring melodic guitar playing, along with his infectious Blues/Rock tunes he has written, have certainly come to the attention of music venues, promoters and audiences alike - with one review saying "He's not a borrower, these are his his own riffs" being one that Mick is rightfully proud of.
Mick McConnell & Blue Thunder continue to build on their successes of 2024, by embarking on their first UK Tour commencing in January and running into February 2025.
Mick's solo album "Under My Skin" reached number 13 in the European Blues Charts, and he’s also had credible interviews in Blues in Britain, and various other European Blues Scene magazines.
He's fortunate enough to have joined the “One Billion Club” on a PLAYLIST that featured his track “Holdin On”
Mick recently stated "My band are nice guys, and boy can they groove"
