Immerse yourself in the Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben while we sway in the breeze in hammocks! With the breeze overhead and roots below, this program invites you to slow down, look closer and rethink what it means to be connected with nature.
Participants will have the option to bring their own hammock or select the add-on when registering to purchase a GCP&T hammock ($30). If a hammock is not your thing, or you aren't sure you are going to like them, that's OK! Just bring a blanket or a camping chair that you don't mind carrying approximately a half a mile.

This program is in partnership with the Greene County Public Library.
Books will be available for pickup here at Greene County Parks & Trails - you will be notified when they are ready to be picked up.
A second session will be offered on November 7th at the Indian Mound Reserve, and the book will be Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall-Kimmerer. Registration will be coming.
