Our final tournament of the 2024 season will be SATURDAY, October 5, 2024. All of our tournaments in 2024 will be RevCo 4s on a big court. We are back to a Saturday tournament and back to a 10:00 am start time. It’s a quick turnaround from our September 15th tournament, so please get signed up ASAP!

Important Details:
- Given the relative proximity to Halloween this will be our annual costume-themed tournament. Come dressed and play in your best team costume. The “best dressed” team will play for free (judging is 100% subjective and 100% influenced by bribes: we accept candy).
- We will again be doing everything we can to limit it to 4 team pools only. We will have 8 teams for each division but after that it’s extremely likely we will only allow additional teams in once we have 4 teams on the waitlist. In other words, waiting until the last minute to signup it may mean you don’t make it into the tournament. We have turned away multiple teams each tournament, so signup early.
- RevCo 4s format will be: big court, block DOES NOT count as a touch and otherwise normal FIVB outdoor 2s volleyball rules, and the let service rule WILL NOT BE IN EFFECT. Please note that we play with standard 2s rules for 4s and have certain modification for 4s that are announced/distributed in advance of the tournament.
- Team composition for RevCo 4s is 2 guys and 2 girls.
Yes, we are aware we allowed a team with 3 guys last tournament. Yes, it was extremely extenuating circumstances and was no fault of the two guys who still showed up on time to play only to find out that their two women bailed on them last minute for no apparent reason. We have always erred on the side of allowing people to play because we run volleyball tournaments and this isn’t the Olympics, but we heard so much complaining about the “injustice” of allowing 3 men (one of whom was set 99% of the time and was already playing so 🤷♂️) that we will no longer err on the side of being flexible in Open. 2 guys and 2 ladies and no injury substitutes. You will just forfeit. Happy?
- We will be at Anderson Community Park in Carrboro, NC. The address is 302 N. Carolina Highway 54 West, Chapel Hill, NC. We will be at Multi-Purpose Field 1.
- The ball of choice will be the Wilson Optx. We will provide court balls.
- Payment for the entire team is due by 12:00 p.m. on the Friday before the tournament and if your team is not paid in full you will be dropped from the tournament. We offer full refunds for any reason or no reason at all until 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before the tournament. Payment amounts and options are the same for the past 4 years:
A/AA is $35 per player and Open is $40 per player.
