What is Handy? Handy is about knowing what to do and how to do it in any situation so that you can stay safe and have more fun. No more feeling like you are going to die and that you want to cry. When you and your horse get Handy, you stay safer, have more fun and success, which brings so much more enjoyment to our time with our Equine partners. This course is about learning what are the basic skills for us and our horses that set us up to be able to achieve all our goals and have the success out in the big wide world.
The basic skills that make someone Handy in my opinion are:
Walk, Trot and Canter simply and easily on a circle
Swing a Rope
Drag an obstacle
Open and Close a Gate
Move a herd of cattle
5 simple things that when we study how to do them with excellence, take us down the rabbit hole of habits and skills that have helped me and my students have more fun and success all over the world.

Jake travels all over the country helping humans and horses develop a partnership that will allow them to achieve any goal. Whether you want to show, trail ride, do liberty, or simply have a partnership with your horse that will last a lifetime, Jake is there for it!
We are so lucky to have this opportunity. And there will be plenty of room for auditing.
