The HANDS UP! Family Rave is returning to The Refectory at Grantham College, on Bank Holiday Monday 25th August 2025.
A club experience for the whole family to rave as one!
Live DJ, pro light effects, lasers, UV, confetti, and more, delivering an authentic rave experience! (All advertised effects are subject to venue permission)
Expect an upbeat mix of family-friendly rave tunes — from Drum and Bass to 90s Ibiza classics, Techno, Speed Garage, and beyond! We blend timeless rave anthems with modern dance tracks and remixes the kids will recognise — perfect for partying together across generations.
VIP experience! A unique opportunity to take to the stage for 15 minutes to get a taste of life as a superstar DJ! Our VIP tickets provide an exclusive experience with access to a premium seating area for the duration of the rave and special goodies to elevate your enjoyment! To make it even more exclusive, we only sell one VIP ticket per event, so grab yours quickly!
For the little ones, we offer a creative craft area with colouring, bracelet making, scratch art, and stickers, while face painters and a merchandise stand provide extra fun and keepsakes. Plus, our licensed bar will have drinks and snacks available to keep everyone refreshed.
We’re also proud to be raising money for charity through this event, making your rave experience even more meaningful.

Important info on this event can be found below;
Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred or resold. If you find you cannot attend, please email [email protected] and we will try to help sell your tickets to others.
Most of the event involves standing and dancing with limited seating available. Please contact us in advance if anyone in your group requires seating.
A maximum of 3 children (aged 2–12) per adult is allowed. For larger groups, please allow one adult per two children. If your group has more than 4 adults per child, please email [email protected] for pre-approval before purchasing tickets.
This event is designed for families with younger children (aged 2–12), though all ages are welcome. Adults must be accompanied by a child to attend, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Bag searches will be conducted at entry to ensure everyone’s safety.
Photography and filming will take place during the event. By attending, you consent to your photos and videos being used for Grantham Events Company promotional purposes.

For groups attending with babies, free buggy storage and a baby change area near the toilets will be available. Drinks and snacks will be sold on-site, but no baby-specific foods will be provided, so please bring what you may need.
Music will be played at a safe volume while maintaining a club atmosphere. If anyone in your group is sensitive to sound, we recommend bringing ear defenders as a precaution.
Please note that HANDS UP! Family Rave is a family-friendly club experience — not a traditional children’s party or disco. There will be some interaction during the event, but mostly we aim to provide a fun, safe space where families can come together to party and dance as one.
