Hands-Only CPR is a fast, simple, and potentially life-saving skill that anyone can learn. In this free American Red Cross class, participants will learn how to respond to a sudden cardiac emergency using hands-only CPR — a technique that involves chest compressions without mouth-to-mouth breaths.
Designed for community members with little or no medical training, this short class teaches how to recognize cardiac arrest, call for help, and provide effective chest compressions until professional responders arrive. Participants will also learn the importance of early action and how it can double — or even triple — a person’s chance of survival.
Whether you're a concerned family member, a coworker, or just someone who wants to be prepared, this class gives you the confidence to act quickly in an emergency.
Pre-registration is required. Limited spots available. This class is free and will be hosted at Pinnacle Gymnastics in Shawnee.
