About this Event
A letter of intent is an integral part of lifecare planning for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. It serves as a guidepost for those who will support your loved one and includes information about relationships, daily needs, financial resources, and other legal matters. A letter of intent illustrates both needs and wants and helps define what is important to the individual as well as what is important for the individual. In this session, we will review all components of a letter of intent and begin the process of drafting this critical life care planning tool.
